What is Save Room?
A spot in the heart of Upminster where you can play video games, retro games, board games, chess, puzzles and tabletop games. You can also make art, attend animation/art lessons, attend our clubs and events… or come for a quiet read or coffee. Private hire and bespoke events available.

9:30 - 18:00 | Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
9:30 - 17:00 | Thursday
9:30 - 17:30 | Saturday
9:30 - 16:00 | Sunday
We may be closed for an hour or two if we’re hosting an event or a private hire, but we will update our customers accordingly on Instagram and on our website.
Super simple. You pay a small entry fee for a set amount of time. You come in and use any of the facilities for however long you’ve paid for. You’re also welcome to come in to sip ‘n’ chill for free without facility use. Children U10 are only £3.50 with a fully paying guest (otherwise full price).

How does it work?
Can I pre-book?

Yes - you can book 90 minute slots in advance to secure entry. We largely have walk-ins, but you can plan your visit in advance - just reach out. Alternatively you can book the whole venue just for you and your family/pals for a private use, or book for a birthday party, a gaming session or animation lesson.
Is there a rewards scheme?
Yes! Grab a loyalty card when you’re next in and enjoy your 10th visit for free (90 mins). We also offer rewards for competition winners and our favourite art of the month.

Do you serve coffee/food?
Yes, we serve delicious coffee, cold drinks and various snacks. We do not serve cooked food - we don’t want your yucky hands all our cool stuff!

Do you do concessions for group bookings?

Yes, take a look at the prices page. Most notably - U10s are only £3.50 with a paying adult. Also, booking after hours has concessions, too.
Do you have Pie Face?
No, I am not cleaning up whipped cream all day.
