What is Save Room?
A spot in the heart of Upminster where you can play video games, retro games, chess, board games, puzzles and tabletop games. You can also make art, attend animation and art lessons as well as come for a quiet read or coffee.

9:30 - 17:00 | Tuesday to Sunday
Super simple. You pay an entry fee for a set amount of time. You come in and use any of the facilities for however long you’ve paid for. If you just want to sit and work / have a coffee (and not use the facilities) - it’s a reduced cost and you get a coffee on us.

How does it work?
Can I pre-book?

Yes, absolutely. We’ll mostly have walk-ins, but you can pre-book - just reach out. Alternatively you can book the whole venue just for you and your family/pals for a private use, or book for a birthday party, a gaming session or animation lesson.
Is there a rewards scheme?
Yes! Grab a loyalty card when you’re next in and enjoy your 10th visit for free. We also offer rewards for competition winners and art-of-the-month winners.

Do you serve coffee/food?
Yes, we serve delicious coffee, cold drinks and various snacks. We do not serve cooked food - we don’t want your yucky greasy hands all our cool stuff!
